Некоторые читают Лукьяненко а потом ищут виртуальный Диптаун. Я сначала наткнулся на миры, а спустя два с половиной года прочитал Лабиринт отражений. Вчера в общем закончил читать (точнее слушать, так как скачал аудиокнигу) первую книгу трилогии.
Достаточно интересный рассказ. Несмотря на некоторые технические казусы, типа у компьютера 2 мегабайта видеопамяти, пару сотен мегабайт оперативы, процессор Пентиум, скорость подключения по модему 28 кбит и при этом нет серьёзных тормозов и ещё и голосом можно общаться - сюжет всё же занимательный и достаточно серьёзный с философской точки зрения.

Вот не знаю почему, а вторую и третью книгу трилогии пока неохота читать. Опасаюсь, что испортится общее впечатление от рассказа. Обычно тенденция такая: автор создаёт шедевр, а потом на основе популярности делает к нему вторую, третью часть и так далее. Правило подтверждают Матрица, С лёгким паром, Три мушкетёра, ну и т д и т п. И это справедливо и для книг, и для фильмов и для компьютерных игр, и для музыки (вспомним большинство отстойных ремиксов).
Поэтому такой вопрос к тем, кто читал трилогию про Диптаун дальше: есть смысл читать продолжение?

Намой взглят вторая часть Лабиринта отрожений тоже неплоха. Хотя и уступает первой. А вот 3 часть мне непонравилась. Но это дело вкуса.

Когда я сам был фидошником, Лабиринт мне понравился, именно за счет отсылок и ассоциаций. В косяки и противоречия особо не вникал, разве что не очень понравилось разрисовка хакерских штук в акшен стиле. Все эти мосты, драконы и прочие боевки. Напомнило дешевые киношки. Стал бы перечитывать? Не знаю, разве что как ностальжи.
